Following delays and cancellations across the airline networks, the airport announced at 10 p.m. on Tuesday that it was working to activate its systems throughout its terminals in order to resume full operations.
Airlines may still decide to cancel and postpone flights, passengers have been advised.

On Monday, just before 6.30 p.m., passengers were informed that all flights, with the exception of the QF9 direct flight from London to Perth, had to be cancelled.
The airport lost all electricity due to severe storms in Perth, which some seasoned workers had never encountered before.
As they left the airport to take cabs, disgruntled travellers wrestled with recently unloaded bags as severe wind and rain pummeled them.
About 5.15 p.m., Perth Airport made an announcement informing travelers that there will be significant delays for the following two hours due to a power failure.
The airport expressed regret to the travelers, some of whom are reportedly stuck at other airports after failing to arrive in Perth.

Perth Airport claimed Western Power's advice was taken into consideration when the decision to cancel flights earlier in the evening was made.
"Perth Airport has chosen to postpone all outgoing services currently scheduled to depart before 7.30pm," stated the message.
"All inbound flights landed smoothly. All flights scheduled to arrive in Perth will be delayed until further notice.
At 7.30 p.m., hundreds of passengers were still gathered around the baggage carousels, waiting for the planes to offload their goods.
Staff members at the Qantas terminal offered water and chips to passengers who were unable to rebook their flights due to a "technical issue" and urged them to be patient.
In order to rebook flights, a crew in Sydney is currently working to "uncheck" passengers. The employee said, "According to what I've been told, there may be delays of up to two hours. Wait patiently and reschedule from home, if necessary."
Angela and Han Nguyen, two Qantas passengers, wanted to travel to Sydney for a three-day business event.
